I was raised in a small rural town by open-minded people, surrounded by generations of family — all four grandparents and even most of my great-grandparents. That kind of upbringing rooted me in old-school values, deep respect, and an appreciation for stories, history, and connection. Those lessons shaped who I am today: a mom, a very proud Mimi, and someone who truly believes in showing up for others with love, honesty, and purpose.
